Arrow Vale Community High School - a Specialist Sports College is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 13 to 18. The school was founded in 1976 in purpose-built accommodation that has since been extended. Facilities include 10 science laboratories, a technology resource base, six computer rooms and a fully equipped theatre. Sports facilities include six tennis courts, Pupils are encouraged to participate in an exciting range of extra-curricular activities that include the folk group, flute choir, rock groups, jazz ensemble and arrow vale vocals. The school aims to foster a spirit of competition on an individual and community basis.
