The school has an 'excellent' working relationship with the local secondary school, and uses its sporting and information technology (IT) facilities. Extra-curricular activities in music and craft are provided on the school premises and sporting activities are held in the local sports hall. The school'supports the Barnados charity and has links with senior citizens organisations in the town.
