Background:
Lodge Farm Middle School was built in 1955. It was changed in to a middle school in 1970 and retains 'excellent specialist facilities' including a laboritory, gymnasium, library with internet connection and large fields. The school boasts a 'very full range' of extra-curricular activities including music, drama and physical education and prides itself on the quality of its annual productions which in recent years have included Oliver and The Jungle Book. There are six specialist physical education teachers. The school provides opportunities for camping trips, visits to the Malvern Field Centre, educational visits to France, skiing holidays and water activity holidays in the South of France.The school is over-subscribed.
